The try-on rental is offered at 50% off rather than a lower rate, as each try-on booking holds the garment for your selected period and prevents it from being rented out for a full weekend booking.

At Rent with Eden we understand that finding the perfect outfit for your special occasion can be a daunting task, which is why we offer a convenient try-on service, both postal and local, to help you make the best choice for your wardrobe needs.
Our try-on service allows you to experience the garment firsthand before committing to a rental. Whether you prefer to have the piece delivered to your doorstep or wish to visit us locally, we’ve got you covered so you can ensure the fit and style are just right for you.
All try ons are to be booked from 1pm Wednesday till Thursday 1pm of every week. A weekly reminder will be posted on our Instagram every Wednesday :)
Local Try Ons: Please select Pick Up in Tauranga as well as the Try On option. Your rental will be reduced by 50% automatically. You will be contacted at our earliest convenience with the Pick Up/Drop Off location. Try on the rental from the comfort of your home. If you're happy with the fit, proceed to make a new booking with us with your preferred dates. Rentals will be packaged and named and must be returned in the same packaging and condition they were given to you in. Return the following day Friday/Saturday to the same address before 12AM.
Postal Try Ons: Please select Postal as well as the Try On option. Your rental will be reduced by 50% automatically. Your rental will be posted to you via Overnight Courier with NZ Post on that Thursday. You should receive the rental on either Friday or Saturday. Try on the rental from the comfort of your home. If you're happy with the fit, proceed to make a new booking with us with your preferred dates. On the following Monday, place the rental back into the postage satchel and hand it over the counter at your local NZ Post Office by 4PM.
Terms and Conditions: If the rentals do not fit, you will not receive any compensation. The rental cannot be put on hold for the date of your event. In booking a postal try on, you are taking the risk that the dress may be booked for your event date by another customer. If the rentals are returned and appear to have been worn or marked, you will be charged the full rental price.
Postal try ons are unavailable for weekends with a public holiday and are not available for rural addresses. If the rentals are damaged while in your possession, you are liable to pay the associated cleaning, repair, or replacement cost. If the rentals are not handed over a post office counter by 4PM the following Monday, you will be charged a daily late fee of $15.
It is at the discretion of Rent with Eden to allow or remove postal try ons each week. Please be aware that the condition of the garment may have deteriorated between your postal try on and event.
